Dr. Patel is a nationally-renowned thought leader who has dedicated his work to improving Health Outcomes through innovation in Patient Engagement, Access to Care, and Community Leadership. An experienced physician with more than 20 years of practice and leadership roles in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Occupational Health, he was formerly the Chief Medical Officer of a 274-bed hospital in Terre Haute and Senior Vice President of TeamHealth.
Dr. Patel serves as Board Member of the Indiana Rural Health Association and was awarded the Indiana Rural Health Leadership Award in 2013.
Previously Medical Director to Health Care Excel, the Quality Improvement Organization focused on executing CMS' vision in the State of Indiana, Dr. Patel is also the founder and Chief Medical Officer of Advocating Health, LLC., a company formed to materialize the concept of Medical Home into a successful operating model though the alignment between employers, patients, on-site medical staff and community physicians.

John has successfully sold IT Infrastructure, SaaS Cloud-based healthcare software solutions, healthcare initiatives, consumer products and communications network services including Voice and Data solutions to major enterprise accounts, major universities, hospitals, healthcare accounts, national laboratories and hospitals regionally, nationally and worldwide.
Keith Clay, MA, MBA
Keith Clay has fifteen years of telecom and IT project management in both public and community health arenas. He has managed and implemented multiple large-scale projects, to include program/project management for MMIS, CBMS, and other State of Colorado, Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) initiatives. Mr. Clay also served as the Department representative on several national HIT workgroups including the National Association of State Medicaid Directors (NASMD) workgroups.
Mr. Clay was appointed by Governor Ritter to the SB07-196, Governor's Advisory Committee for Health IT, as the Medicare/Medicaid representative. He was also appointed by the HCPF executive director the Medicaid Reform Steering Committee.
Mr. Clay has a BA and MA from the University of Texas at Austin, and an Executive MBA with Honors from Regis University. He also attended the Military Intelligence Officer Basic Course, U.S. Army.
